HERE'S HOW YOU PLAY. ONCE YOU'VE BEEN TAGGED YOU HAVE TO WRITE A BLOG OF TEN WEIRD, RANDOM THINGS, FACTS OR HABITS ABOUT YOURSELF. AT THE END, YOU CHOOSE TEN PEOPLE TO BE TAGGED, LISTING THEIR NAMES AND WHY YOU CHOSE THEM TO BE TAGGED. DON'T FORGET TO LEAVE THEM A COMMENT "YOU'RE IT" AND TO READ YOUR BLOG. YOU CAN'T TAG THE PERSON WHO TAGGED YOU. SINCE YOU CAN'T TAG THAT PERSON BACK, LET HIM OR HER KNOW WHEN YOU'VE POSTED YOUR BLOG SO HE OR SHE CAN READ YOUR ANSWERS.

1. I hate the grocery store...with a passion. It takes such a large chunck out of your day to go wandering up and down numerous aisles, dodging endless carts and attempting to avoid knocking down any displays. Not to mention the fact that I get completely distracted and end up getting more than I need...even when I have a list to work from.
2. I don't really like to talk on the phone. (Yes, I realize this a strange thing for a female to say, but I just really don't like it.)
3. I am addicted to reality television--particularly anything on Bravo.
4. I want to live in Spain. Doesn't really matter where...except Madrid. Just another big city like any other. I need something with a little more personality.
5. I have increasingly become shyer (sp?) over the past few years. I used to be really outgoing, but I have gotten to where I just enjoy quiet time spent reading, watching television, or sitting outside.
6. I love the show Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern. It's completely gross, but intriguing as well.
7. I am so excited about my honeymoon coming, but I cringe everytime I think of putting on a bathing suit in front of anyone.
8. I could live the rest of my life in pajama pants and be completely thrilled about it. There is nothing better than lounging around in pajama pants.
9. I have way too many toiletry products than any one person should have. And I don't use them all. I just feel better knowing that I have them in case the need arises.
10. I love the smell of clean laundry, even though I'm not crazy about the process it takes to actually achieve that smell. If I had to choose one thing I could smell the rest of my life and nothing else, it would be clean laundry.

Anyone who wants to do this, go ahead. I am not tagging any person in particular.

Goin' to the Chapel...

So I decided I would let everyone know what is going on in the world of wedding planning. I am about 2 months away from all of this happening, and it feels like there is more and more to do every single day. This past weekend, my mom came up and we went shopping for clothes to wear to all my showers and such. We had a lot of fun and I have to say that my mom is probably one of the most efficient shoppers out there. We literally found all of my outfits in one two-hour spree. She's pretty amazing when it comes to that stuff. Besides that, it was just good to hang out with her this weekend. On Saturday we went shopping for veils. I completely forgot that it is now PROM season and all of the stores are packed with girls trying on skimpy dresses. Seriously, it's amazing what they wear now...two-piece things that show all kinds of cleavage, stomach, and other parts that should not be seen in public. After trying on what felt like 800 veils, we found one that is really pretty. I also tried on my actual dress, which feels about 10 sizes too big. Good thing the ladies that do alterations can work miracles.
I have almost completed registering, which I will say has been an interesting process. I am not very good at all the entertaining/party throwing stuff, so I naturally don't think of registering for things like trifle bowls and cake plates. Another reason my mom came in handy this weekend. She knows all about the world of parties.
So, the dress has come in, the bridesmaid dresses are in, the band has been booked, the music picked out, invitations are in and being addressed....it's all coming together. Only part I don't know too much about is where we are actually going to live and work. (At least the wedding is situated--I have to have my priorities in order! ;) Anyway, here are a few pictures of where the wedding is. I am really excited about it and think that it's going to be really pretty. Hope all is well in your world!

Rest of 2007...

So is anyone still out there that actually reads this? I haven't updated in quite some time so I might have lost anyone out there that might have checked up periodically. Whatever the case, I felt the need to update everyone out there on what has been going on in my life.
First things first--I still hate my job but have learned to accept it and realize that everyday is one day closer to being finished. I survived the first half, so hopefully this semester will go by quickly. I just have to keep looking forward to the next holiday or day off.
Along with the misery that goes/went along with my job, I have been suffering from clincal depression for the past few months, which is what has kept me so quiet. Things have been rough around here, but are finally starting to look better. I don't know what I would have done without Ray's love and support to pull me through, although I'm not quite sure WHY he is still here after being put through hell and back. I know everyone says the first year of marriage is hardest, but if we could get through what we did the past few months and still be ok, I think we'll be ok.
Ray finished his first semester of graduate school at MTSU and although it was tough, he made it through with all A's.
Wedding plans are coming along. The dress and bridesmaid dresses are ordered. The place is set and we have been coming up with design ideas. Invitations have been ordered. The next step is music. No major problems throughout the planning process, which is great.
Ray and I were in Montgomery for several days for Christmas and stayed with my family. We had such a good time. Went bowling, watched movies, did puzzles, played games, etc. Then we headed down to Orlando to visit a good friend of mine from Auburn. We spent New Year's there and we were able to relax and just enjoy ourselves. I did get a digital camera for Christmas but haven't been able to set it up on the computer. I will try to get pictures up at some point. Anyway, I guess that's enough rambling for now. Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday and are finding 2008 to be better than 2007 thus far!

My classroom

So our school has joined up with Office Max in their program "Adopt-A-Classroom." I thought I would post a link to my page in case any of you are interested. It is basically donations that will go to a specific teacher/classroom for any supplies that they might need. So anyway, here is the link:

A question....

Is is wrong to hate a job SO MUCH that you countdown nearly every hour until the weekend begins?
